Executive Director at Venue At Far Out Farms

I’m Megan Hall, the heart behind The Venue at Far Out Farms. After 20 years as a stay-at-home mom to seven wonderful kids—and now a proud Nonna of three—I discovered a lifelong passion for creating meaningful celebrations. From planning my kid’s birthdays to coordinating my own wedding and my dad’s, event design has always come naturally. Though the venue is owned by my dad, I run and operate every aspect of it and have thoughtfully handpicked each fixture, finish, and tiny detail, helping design the entire space with our couples in mind. Alongside my husband, John, and with the Lord’s guidance, I’ve truly found my calling in making wedding days as beautiful and unforgettable as couples envision them to be. I am honored to be part of your journey.

Robby McGinn and Darrell Payne, lifelong best friends since second grade in Ludowici, GA, built their dreams side by side. After moving to the Upstate together in 1991, they founded Payne, McGinn & Cummins, Inc. in 1995 with their close friends and partners, Robert and Claire Cummins. For 30 years, they’ve grown a respected construction company rooted in trust, craftsmanship, and community. The vision for The Venue at Far Out Farms began when we acquired the property in 2017; with its breathtaking view of Glassy Mountain, it was clear this land was meant to be part of life’s most meaningful moments. Today, alongside their wives, Sandy Payne and Ronda McGinn, and also pictured, Robert Cummins of Payne, McGinn & Cummins, Inc., they are proud to see their shared vision come to life—not only as a fully functional pumpkin patch, but as a place where couples begin their forever. We are honored to be part of each love story that unfolds here.

Hi I’m Sarah Staggs, the executive Event Coordinator with The Venue at Far Out Farms.
I have been a wedding planner and coordinator since 2015. I have seen a lot of variations of weddings and am still learning to this day. In any wedding, my absolute favorite parts are the dances, whether that’s the mother/son, father/ daughter or the couple themselves, there’s something so endearing about those moments . By God’s grace, I have been married to my husband Chris since 2011 and we have 2 beautiful daughters. My favorite pastime is drinking coffee on my back patio enjoying the fresh mountain air.
